The District is funded through a combination of Property Tax and Sales Tax.
Property tax was 10 cents per $100 valuation for many years, until changed to 8 cents in 2021, 6 cents in 2022 and $.04 in 2023.
Sales tax is collected at 1% for businesses west of Mopac and at 2 % for businesses east of Mopac.
